Use DutchBSD Workspace to create and run lawful things without harming people, systems or networks. You remain responsible for your content and users.

1. Scope

This policy applies to every account, workspace, site, domain, upload, integration, API request and other use of DutchBSD Workspace.

2. Illegal or rights-infringing use

Do not create, publish, store, sell, request or distribute content or activity that:

  • is illegal where DutchBSD B.V. operates or where the material is directed;
  • infringes intellectual property, privacy, portrait, confidentiality or other rights;
  • facilitates fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, counterfeit goods or unlawful financial activity;
  • contains or promotes child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, terrorism, trafficking or credible threats of violence;
  • unlawfully discriminates, stalks, harasses, doxxes or exposes private information; or
  • offers regulated products or services without legally required licences, checks and information.

3. Security and network abuse

Do not distribute malware, probe systems without permission, evade authentication or limits, interfere with availability, obtain infrastructure through fraud, scrape in a harmful manner, or share credentials outside the product's access model.

4. Spam and deception

Do not send or host unsolicited bulk messages, misleading promotions, fake reviews, hidden redirects, deceptive forms or impersonation. Marketing must follow consent, identification and unsubscribe rules.

5. Privacy and sensitive use

Do not collect, upload, reveal, buy, sell or use personal data without a lawful basis and appropriate notice. Do not use the service for unlawful surveillance or sensitive profiling. Special-category and criminal-offence data are not supported by default and may be used only where a product expressly supports them and appropriate safeguards are agreed.

6. High-impact and automated use

Do not use automated or AI-assisted features to evade safeguards, impersonate people deceptively, make unlawful high-impact decisions or process data you are not allowed to submit. Human review is required before relying on automated output for legal, medical, financial, employment, housing, education or safety decisions.

7. Fair use

Do not use substantially more storage, traffic, processing or support than is reasonable for the plan in a way that harms the service or other customers. We normally contact you and offer a suitable plan or chance to reduce use before restricting service, unless there is urgent risk or deliberate abuse.

8. Enforcement and reports

We consider context, harm, urgency, law, history and whether a problem can be fixed. We may warn, request a change, restrict a feature, block publication, remove specific content, suspend an account or terminate service. We may preserve evidence and report matters where law requires it.
